All ELPAC tests requires auto-play of sound files enabled in the browser. This applies to any browser, not just Safari.
Instructions to enable auto-play of sound files
In Safari, the default Apple setting for enabling auto-play is "block auto-play".
- Step 1: Launch the Safari app on a Mac iOS computer
- Step 2: Select Safari from the menu bar options
- Step 3: Choose the Preferences option under the Safari Menu
- Step 4: Switch to the Websites tab within the Preferences popup Window
- Step 5: Choose Auto-play in the sidebar
- Step 6: At the bottom of the drop-down - When visiting other websites select Allow All Auto-Play
